Super Boy

Since rain has been keeping us huddled inside for the majority of the week, we decided to make a superhero cape and make the day extra super. I had a great time watching X run around the house with his arm in the air, being "super boy."

He is so super.

Scrap booking on a rainy Saturday

Today Renae and I went to an all day scrap booking class. We drank coffee, ate warm pumpkin soup, and crafted for hours as the rain poured down outside. Recently, I was re-reading some of my past posts from my blog in Seoul, and it was amazing reliving those memories. I think this scrapbook will be a great way to remember my experience in Perth for a long time to come.

Here are some of my favorite pages.

Story time!

Every Wednesday the Joondalup library puts on a Storytime for the kids. This week, we read lots of stories about our ears and being good listeners. Then, the kids got be creative and make their own bunny ears. Xavier and Minet looked cuter than usual, if that's possible.

Ducky park

Monday is picnic day, so this week we went to the park around the corner from our house. The other au pair who took me there wasn't sure of the name, so we named it "ducky park." Stuck in the middle of a residential area, once you enter the park you feel like you're in the middle of a forest. There is a little path, taking you into a new world with a lake and ducks swimming around. The kids loved it.

xx.

Sock bubble machine

I had seen this on Pinterest and had been meaning to try it, so this week it was a must. With only a plastic bottle, a sock, and some soap, we created endless amounts of fun by making a sock bubble machine. Once I made sure the boys were only blowing out and not inhaling the soap, it was so cute to sit back and watch them play around with the bubbles. I think this would be fun in the bath as well. :)

Homemade Museli

Using the thermomix has been like a dream. It is so easy and conveinent to make anything in it. I have been watching and learning as Renae has made dinners the past couple of weeks and this week I made homemade museli. It was super easy, and yummy. Breakfast, check!

Thanks, Hermie :)

Baby-cinos at Cafissimo

Baby-cinos are a new thing in my life. Just hot chocolate and frothed milk, it was a fun little date to the coffee shop for the kids to feel all grown up and special, while us au pairs had our caffeine fix.

Good idea, Caffissimo... everyone left happy :)
